Los Angeles, CA – February 14, 2019 – Winston Baker, leading global producer of entertainment conferences will be hosting its 11th Annual Entertainment Finance Forum at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles on February 27, 2019.

Entertainment Finance Forum is designed to bring together leading entertainment executives, strategists, content creators, seasoned investors and advisors for a day of inspiring talks, collaborative workshops and deal-making opportunities. This year’s speaking faculty will also feature a significantly growing number of women in entertainment finance.

The event will kick-off with discussions by Chief Executive Officers and Chief Financial Officers from Quibi, Legendary, MACRO, Level Forward, and Perfect World Pictures. Then award-winning producer Janet Yang will moderate a keynote conversation with 2019 Sundance Grand Jury Prize award-winning Director Chinonye Chukwu and Producer Bronwyn Cornelius.

Chinonye Chukwu is a filmmaker, educator and social justice advocate. She is the founder of Pens to Pictures, a filmmaking collaborative that teaches and empowers incarcerated women to make their own short films, from script to screen. Chinonye’s second feature film, CLEMENCY, premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and won the Grand Jury Award in the US Dramatic Competition. The script was also a 2017 Athena List winner for best feature script featuring a female protagonist. Chinonye has been a recipient of the prestigious Princess Grace Award and Princeton Hodder Fellowship. Her debut feature film, ALASKALAND, has screened globally and been released on several digital and VOD platforms. Chinonye is currently in development for her next feature film, A TASTE OF POWER, based on the memoir by the first and only female leader of the Black Panther Party, Elaine Brown.

Bronwyn Cornelius is a Sundance Grand Jury Prize award-winning producer and ardent supporter of female content creators and diverse voices behind and in front of the camera. Her career experience includes projects with Gracie Films, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. Her work in feature films began working alongside a veteran studio line producer on such Academy Award-winning movies as “Jerry Maguire” and “As Good As It Gets.” She most recently developed and produced critically-acclaimed “Clemency,” starring Academy Award-nominated Alfre Woodard, which won the 2019 Sundance Film Festival’s Grand Jury Prize. She is Board Chair Emerita and remains actively involved on the board of international non-profit GlobalGirl Media, and is a member of the Producers’ Guild of America.
