Elizabeth Polk leads the independent film business & legal affairs
team at Netflix. Her team is responsible for financing and acquiring a high volume of feature films for exclusive exhibition on Netflix. Prior to Netflix, Elizabeth lead the legal teams at IM Global (now Global Road) and Essential Entertainment (now Story Mining & Supply Co), both international sales companies and financiers. In addition to Elizabeth’s entertainment related
pursuits, she is the co-owner of Speir Pilates, a popular boutique fitness studio in Downtown Santa Monica, California. Elizabeth earned her B.A. from Howard University in Washington DC and her J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. She is a member of California Bar and serves on the Board of The Blackhouse Foundation.
