Clinton Foy

Clinton Foy joined CrossCut in 2013, and is a General Partner and Managing Director.

Clinton has deep experience building, leading, operating, and investing in top tech, media and game companies. At CrossCut Clinton led investments in Super Evil MegaCorp, Mobcrush, Streamlabs, Boom.tv, Arrivo, Arsenic, and Blitzesports.com. Clinton co-founded the professional esports organization, the Immortals and the LA Valiant. Immortals.gg.

Prior to CrossCut, Clinton served as the COO at Square Enix, a $3 billion video game and media publisher. At Square Enix, he built the mobile and online teams and led licensing for FINAL FANTASY, TOMB RAIDER, and SPACE INVADERS franchises across multiple platforms.

Prior to Square Enix, Clinton practiced law with the Heller Ehrman Venture Law Group in Seattle, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley, representing top tech companies including Microsoft, Sony, Fujitsu, and Yahoo.

Clinton earned a BA from the University of Notre Dame where he studied art history and philosophy, a JD from the University of Washington School of Law, and MA from Stanford University Graduate School.
