The forum will take place March 2 at the W Hollywood.

Ted Hope, Amazon Studios’ head of motion picture production, will be honored at this year’s Entertainment Finance Forum.

The executive will receive the Winston Baker Hope Award, which is meant to recognize an individual that can make great content while creating a sustainable business.

Amazon Studios recently made history with Manchester by the Sea, becoming the first streamer to win a Golden Globe in a major film category.

“In today’s world, ‘hope’ is not a word we hear very often anymore,” said Katherine Winston, co-founder of Winston Baker. “We were inspired to present the Hope Award in order to acknowledge the positive changes that were being made by visionaries in film, television and technological development.”

EFF also has announced its speaker series, with conversations that will address finance and growth within the entertainment industry. Speakers include Covert Media’s Paul Hanson, OddLot’s Rachel Shane and Comcast Ventures’ Michael Yang, among many others.
