Winston Baker has announced its inaugural Asia Pacific Entertainment Finance Forum, which will take place during the Hawaii International Film Festival, with Variety as a media partner.

Inspired by the success of its Entertainment Finance Forum in Los Angeles, Winston Baker created the Asia Pacific Entertainment Finance Forum to bridge the gap between Hollywood, Silicon Valley and Asia. The event was developed to provide knowledge to equity and debt financiers on investment opportunities, challenges and strategies for increased upside within the film, TV, digital and gaming industries.

The forum’s keynote conversation on “Redefining the Television Landscape” will be led by Bruce Tuchman, president of AMC Global and Sundance Channel Global. Other speakers include Nina Yang Bongiovi, Sunny Dhillon, Roy Lee, Matthew Liu, Thomas McGrath and Nansun Shi.

The speakers will also offer their expertise on other topics, such as “Localization of Remakes and Innovative Film Co-Productions” and “Challenges and Opportunities: Creating Content in Hawaii.”

The forum will be held Nov. 18-20 at the Modern Honolulu Hotel.
