Steve Soffer

Steve Soffer is the Founding Member of Media Funding Partners and a veteran of the entertainment industry with a career that spans more than 35 years.  Steve is MFPs Chief Executive and Operating Officer. He graduated from UCLA and prior to founding MFP, Steve was President of motion-graphics design company Studio Productions.

Studio Productions is best known for producing promotion campaigns, computer graphics and animation including trailers, promos and main titles for the studios and networks including 20th Century Fox, Disney, Universal, Paramount, Sony, New Line, NBC, CBS, Encore, and A&E. At Studio Productions, Steve also produced the corporate logos seen on the front of motion pictures for Paramount Pictures, Universal and 20th Century Fox.

Steve previously served as Executive Vice President of The Game Channel cable network, which was a joint venture partnership with IFC, parent company of cable network The Family Channel. The Family Channel was sold to Fox and in 2001 Disney acquired it. Today the network is known as ABC Family.

In 2009 Steve formed Platinum Life and Financial Services with a partner where he directed the company’s marketing and sales efforts. A campaign to formulate a national health insurance exchange was the connection to the media buying company that was the precursor to the establishment of MFP in 2014. MFP’s main focus is to provide an innovative platform for funding motion picture P&A marketing campaigns.

When not managing P&A campaigns, Steve hangs out with his girlfriend and 2 daughters, plays basketball and is producing a documentary to spotlight the benefits of incorporating a plant-based diet as a way to cut costs and deliver improved results within the health care industry.
